- Minehunter Rudders
- Structural
Composites developed the Resin Injection Recirculation Molding process used to make
state-of-the-art composite rudders for the Navy's Mine Countermeasure (MCM) class. The
rudders have been subjected to under water explosion shock (UNDEX) testing and passed
without a single failure. The composite rudders not only achieved the critically needed
weight reduction, but afforded the Navy a significant reduction in rudder acquisition cost
as well.
-
- Shipboard Ducting
- Structural Composites is working to advance
the technology for complex molds and composite component fabrication for ducting aboard
U.S. Navy ships.
Prototype Floor Panel and Fire Wall
- Structural Composites is often called upon to lend its expertise to a variety of
military and commercial R&D projects.
Light Weight Composite Panels For Military Buildings
Structural Composites
designed and manufactured prototype composite panels for
- a light weight mobile shelter
for the military.
-
- Oil Holding and Waste Tanks
- Developed and built for Navy Coastal Minehunter (MHC) class.
Hydraulically Controlled Skis
- Structural Composites led the design, development, fabrication and installation of
